After you place your order, it usually takes 24-48 hours before your order is processed.
If the items are in stock, shipping normally takes 12-15 working days after the order is processed.
If an item is not in stock, it may take 14 working days or longer, to come into stock. The amount of time it takes to come into stock depends on the mill and can vary significantly. The amount of time it takes to come into stock varies depending on the mills and suppliers they are sourced from. Estimates may be given from the mills or suppliers which we relay to you, for the approximate time to product a tapestry or other product, however these time estimates may change as time goes on, and be prolonged depending on the actual production time, delays, mill closures for holidays or any other circumstance that can cause delays. Tapestry production involves machine looms as well as hand woven finishes to add backings or rod tunnels which are done by hand, and take time, and can vary in production time.
Time or day of delivery even though may be estimated, can not be guaranteed due to the many factors mentioned above, as well as the fact that any shipping companies that we may use to ship products, is also beyond our control.

Express shipping, when used for items in stock in the United States, can be about a 5-7 day delivery to the US. Deliveries of items from the United Kingdom or Europe will take longer to arrive to the United States. Deliveries to countries outside the United States takes approximately 8-15 working days. Again, the time or day of delivery can not be guaranteed in any cirumstance due to the shipping companies not being in our control, as well as potential delays in customs or local postal services once the products reach your country or area. For some items in our range, which are shipped from other locations, the shipping time can vary. Contact us for a quote on shipping cost and timing.
Also, natural disasters or man made situations may cause delays in production or shipping.
Note: For handwoven tapestries, as these are hand crafted, these normally take 4-6 months to make.

If your credit card is based on a different currency, the amount charged will depend on the exchange rate that your bank uses for that transaction. Any bank fees imposed by your bank are the responsibility of the customer.
Import Taxes And Duties
Most items are shipped from the US. Some items are shipped from the United Kingdom. If shipped from the United Kingdom, this is indicated on the product description.
Please note that any import taxes, duties, VAT, GST or other taxes or duties, are the responsibility of the customer.
Any fees imposed by the courier company or delivery service are the responsibility of the customer. In some situations, courier companies or postal services may charge fees for handling delivery of items that involve clearance in customs, payment of duties or other reasons.
Customers are responsible for any fees charged by their bank for using their credit or debit card for purchases.
If paying by bank or wire transfer, the customer is responsible for paying any fees and charges that the customer's bank may charge for the transfer.
If paying by bank or wire transfer, we reserve the right to ask for payment in US dollars to be transferred to our bank. In such cases the amount to be transferred is the order total, which is in US dollars. Alternatively, we may ask for payment in Australian dollars to be transferred to our bank. In such cases, we will notify the customer of the Australian dollar equivalent of the US dollar amount based on current exchange rate estimations, prior to the customer transferring the amount to us. If paying by bank or wire transfer, the customer's order will not be processed until the payment for the order clears.
We cannot guarantee that the colors of the products you see on our site is an exact match of the color of the product.
Please be aware that due to factors such as the lighting, image quality, and computer screen accuracy, that there may be a difference in color.
Also, being woven products, color of fabrics may vary from product to product.
If a color discrepancy occurs, or for other reasons, you wish to do a return or exchange, please see our policies below.
We cannot guarantee that the size of tapestries will be exactly as described.
Due to the nature of woven products, there may be small variations in the size of tapestries.
If there are errors on the site regarding descriptions, prices, sizes or other details, then we will need to correct these errors and notify you of these errors so that products are sold at their correct sizes and prices.
If the customer places an order and then cancels, we reserve the right to charge a 20% restocking fee, calculated as 20% of the order total excluding shipping price, or in the case of partial cancellations, the total of the cancelled items, excluding shipping price.
If items have already shipped at the time of us or our suppliers becoming aware of cancellation, the shipping price paid by the customer is not refundable. Also, the customer is responsible for the cost of shipping the products back to the originating address/es of our supplier/s. If the items being returned were sent from different locations, then the items must be returned to the locations from which they sent.
Returned item/s, must be received by the originating supplier/s within 30 days of receipt of the item, and the customer must request and receive an RMA number from us before they return the item. If items being returned to us from the customer are lost or damaged in transit, then a refund cannot be given. The customers is advised to insure any items they are returning to us to help them recoup some costs in these circumstances. However we cannot guarantee that the insurance paid will result in compensation for damage or loss in transit, as we have no control of the decisions of these third parties.
Returns and exchanges
The return policy as follows applies to tapestries, except for handwoven tapestries.
For handwoven tapestries, as these are individually hand crafted to order, all sales are final and no returns or refunds are accepted.
If your item arrives damaged, you must inform us within 3 days upon receipt of the item. Otherwise, we will assume that you have received the items in good condition.
For exchanges or returns, you must notify us within 7 days or receiving the order.
Returns or exchanges are accepted, as long as items are returned to us within 30 days.
Before returning an item, you must contact us at contact @ worldwidetapestries.com (remove spaces before and after the @ symbol) with your order details, to obtain a RMA number and instructions for returns.
If you wish to return an item for a refund, there will be a 20% restocking fee. The customer is responsible for the cost of shipping to return to the item to the location they were delivered from, that is our suppliers in the USA or for some items, in the United Kingdom. If the items being returned were sent from different locations, then the items must be sent to the locations from which they sent from. Shipping costs of the initial order are not refundable.
If you wish to exchange for an item of the same or greater value, there will be no 20% restocking fee. Otherwise, there is a 20% restocking fee. The customer is responsible for the cost of shipping to return to the item to our suppliers in the USA or for some items, in the UK. If the items being returned were sent from different locations, then the items must be sent to the locations from which they sent from. Shipping costs of the initial order are not refundable. With exchanges, the customer will pay for the usual shipping cost of the new replacement order or orders.
