In this modern work, we see an abstract work, shimmering with shape and color, to produce a fascinating and beautiful work.
The beauty of this work is that the color palette is stunning.
Beige golds contrast with red and turquoise.
It is as if we seeing a cross section of the Earth, with trees, the surface and the earth below.
The use of shading and form creates the trees, branches and roots which provide just enough visual clues to create the scene.

Kiss Captured is a tapestry based on the work of Gustav Klimt, an artist of the Viennese Secession movement.
Klimt’s works are focused on the mysterious woman, where in this scene is receiving a kiss.
Her face tells the story.
She is dreamy and her head is surrounded by stars as if she is in ecstasy.
The works of Klimt were deliberately created as a departure from the traditional art of his era. His use of pattern juxtaposed onto his subject matter is one of the trademarks of his works.

This tapestry Composition shows an abstract scene that ads bold color to any setting.
It balances reds and yellows with a contrasting blue and black, to create dramatic color effect.
