Abstract Autumn tapestry is a contemporary wall hanging which celebrates the season on autumn, from the work of Canadian artist Jae Dougall. In this abstract yet approachable design we see the harmonious use of color as well as composition. The colors are autumnal with the rich browns and golds with a hint of red and black, but then we see the maple leaf which is actually composed itself, of multiple leaves like leaves on the branches of a tree. This added layer of imagery conveys the essence of both a single leaf as well as the process of autumn itself, the shedding of multiple leaves from a tree to begin anew. Displaying the unmistakable colors of autumn, this tapestry is a celebration of nature at its height of change and preparation for future renewal. "Abstract Autumn" tapestry is backed with a lining and has a tunnel for ease of hanging. Note: tapestry rod and tassels, where pictured, are not included.
