This Antique Breughel I tapestry shows the work of artist Jan Breughel (1568-1625), known as Flowers in a Vase. Here we see a gorgeous work where an abundance of flowers are seen arranged tall and beautiful in a golden vase. We see tulips, roses, fuchsias and lilies in reds, yellows, orange, and whites. These colors contrast well with the olive green foliage, in a dark background which accentuates the flowers even more. Fruits of cherries, apples, and grapes are on the table to add extra richness to this decadent work. An acanthus leaf border completes this floral work of this Flemish painter. This Antique Breughel I tapestry is backed with lining and tunnel for easy hanging. Note: tapestry rod and tassels, where pictured, are purchased separately.
