Blooming Lily

This tapestry 'Blooming Lily' is based on the work of artist Brent Heighton. Raised in British Columbia, he began his career as a commercial artist, and then became a professional artist in his own right for over 25 years. He travels to Europe and Mexico and his work is influenced by his experiences he has gained from these travels. His style is described as contemporary, impressionistic and abstract. In this piece, we see an Oriental Lily in bloom, showing off his use of color and light in one of his favorite subjects. This tapestry is backed with a lining and tunnel for easy hanging. Tapestry rods and tassels are not included.
