In this Bonclerto tapestry we see a gorgeous streetscape, the work of Guido Borelli. Borelli, born in 1952, in Caluso, was the son of an artist, and began painting since a young age. He trained in Turin, and since has exhibited in many countries around the world including Holland, the United Kingdom, Norway, Germany, Malta, Poland, Japan, and Spain as well as regular exhibitions in the United States in New Orleans and California. This tapestry here shows shops, with details of the facade outside, and the objects inside, as well as the flowers on the window balconies above. The use of color is cohesive with blues, oranges, beiges accented by whites. This Bonclerto tapestry is backed with lining and tunnel for easy hanging.
