In this tapestry "Castle of Parma" we see a castle in the northern Italian region of Parma, the work of Giuseppe Alinovi (1811-1848). Here we see the rustic Italian town with its locals in the village in the backdrop of one of the 19 castles in this region. Parma was established as a city by the Etruscans in ancient Rome. Today this region of Italy is known for its famous ham and cheese, as well as its beautifual countryside. Here we see the typical Italian castle architectural features in its surrounding village. This tapestry "Castle of Parma" is backed with a lining and has a tunnel for easy hanging. Note: tapestry rod and tassels, where pictured, are purchased separately.
