Classical roses still life

If you’re a connoisseur of art from contemporary artists, chances are good you know the work of T.C. Chiu. The purposeful blend of traditional realism with modern painting techniques defines his work. Chiu’s “Classical roses still life” is a fine example of his artistry. An ornate stone vase sits in an alcove. The bouquet’s collection of pink, white and lavender roses seem to jump out of the tapestry, due in large part to Chiu’s command of depth in the piece. The deep shadows create directional light that’s quite exquisite. This tapestry is lined and has a tunnel for easy hanging.
