This wonderful "Country Living" tapestry shows the work of artist Thomas Kinkade (1598-2012). He was known as "Thomas Kinkade, Painter of Light". Kinkade grew up in Placerville, California, and attended art college in Pasadena. He travelled across the Unites States and in New York, produced his work called The Artist's Guide to Sketching. His works have universal appeal as they celebrate the beauty of American countryside, and here we see a beautifully rendered countryside scene of flowering fields with a path leading the eye to the horizon. There is a stag in the scene, which is filled with an atmosphere from the cloudy skies, which causes the light to beautifully cast light onto the midground. A work of beautiful play of light and creating atmosphere, a hallmark of the works of Kinkade. This landscape art tapestry "Country Living" is backed with a lining and has loops for hanging. Note: Tapestry rods, where pictured, are not included in the price.
