English Bouquet

This tapestry 'English Bouquet' is an extract of an 18th century tapestry woven in Soho. This floral work features acanthus leaves, tulips, poppies and roses. There are also acanthus motifs in the surrounding border. The bold orange and golden tones are balanced within the bouquet as well as the border, by grey and blue tones to anchor the piece.
