Floral bouquet

Spring is eternal with this overflowing bowl of hyacinths and tulips in “Floral bouquet”. Though tulips are mostly associated with the Netherlands, they actually originated in Persia and Turkey more than a century ago. Tulips mean “perfect love”. The blue hyacinths denote “constancy”. In the 17th century Holland, hyacinths were so popular that only wealthy flower collectors could afford them. Perhaps that’s why they were often the subject of so many flower still lifes. The deep greens, dusty blues and rich reds will enhance nearly any room it is hung in. Given its romantic meanings, a master suite or guest room would be ideal, though it will also look nice hung over a fireplace or in the dining room.
