This incredible handwoven tapestry "Cascading Vista" shows an elaborate verdure scene of foliage, birds and a distant countryside. This work takes the best of verdure tapestry production technique of the Aubusson tapestry production houses in France from the 17th century, and adds an original twist that is most refreshing and beautiful. In the foreground we see a tree trunk with exquisite beauty in its form, echoed by the details in the path and tree trunks leading the eye to the distance on the left. On the right, there is a river where swans are resting and well as other flying birds nearby, the source of which is an elaborate golden fountain. Finally, in the distance there is a hint of a distant town.
