Filled with incredible detail, this hand woven tapestry Columns Verdure shows a castle garden scene from 17th century. Based on the works created by the Aubusson tapestry manufacture in France, this piece shows the pure attention to detail that these tapestries show. Here we see a balcony scene with columns, with a collection of flowers, with a red drape, violin and musical score, to show the enjoyment of music by nobility. In the verdure part of the tapestry we see a lush green forest, beside the river which leads the eye into the distance hills and trees in the mist. A floral garland decorates the scene above. This handwoven tapestry "Columns Verdure" is unlined, and has a rod pocket for easy hanging.
