Filled with pure detail, this handwoven tapestry "Drape & Music" shows a wonderful verdure scene of flowers, red drape and violin. Based on a work Bouquet au Drape produced in the 17th and 18th centuries, here we see an exquisite hand woven tapestry showing this lush scene with superb detail. We see gorgeously detailed foliage through the piece, together with a fine arrangement of flowers in full bloom on an urn beside a column which is decorated with a red drape. The way the colors flow from the foreground to the mistier background is truly beautiful. This tapestry, hand woven in 100% wool, reflects the techniques in design used by the famous Aubusson tapestry production houses in 18th century France. This large handwoven tapestry "Drape & Music" is unlined, and has a rod pocket for easy hanging.
