This dramatic and beautiful handwoven tapestry "Menorah" shows a candle in the formation of a menorah. The menorah was described in Biblical texts as a multi branched lampstand made out of gold, and used by Moses in the wilderness. Consisting of a central column, with its characteristic curved branches, the menorah was said to be created according to divine instructions. Here we see the menorah on a tall alcove overlooking the stone architecture below, filled with character and beauty. The menorah supporting candles is shown to beautiful effect in this stunning piece. This hand-woven tapestry "Menorah" comes unlined, and has a rod pocket for easy hanging.
