This Royal Passage tapestry is a handwoven tapestry in the style of Aubusson, and shows the balcony view of the palace grounds. Here we see the ornate columns and balcony where a red drape and bouquet of flowers is seen to decorate the scene where the gardens and grounds of the palace are revealed. In the midground, nobelmen and their horses are riding to the palace and the scene is decorated with a garland of flowers at the top. The design is inspired by the traditional verdures and palace tapestries of the 17th century in France and Belgium. This hand-woven tapestry in 100% wool "Royal Passage" is unlined, and has a rod pocket for easy hanging.
