Jaco

“Jaco” depicts the stunningly beautiful scarlet macaw. A native of the American tropics from eastern Mexico through Peru and Brazil, the scarlet macaw is an icon of life in the tropics. It is indigenous to the rainforests and can usually only be found at the top of the forest’s canopy. Their bright and lively coloring makes them appear as flowers to predators below, who may be looking to dine on parrot one evening. The Honduran national bird, the red macaw is a rare find and even experienced birdwatchers can go a lifetime without seeing one in its native habitat. Shown against a deep black background, “Jaco” is magnificent, not only in the quality of the weave, but also in the vibrant colors used to depict the parrot.
