Jerusalem

Created in combination with the Jerusalem Center for Planning of Historic Cities, Norbert Ceulemans illustrated this amazing three-dimensional map of the holy city. For three years, the Flemish cartographer walked up and down the sandy streets of the city, committing them to memory and to paper. He then went back to his studio to create this beautiful rendition of Jerusalem. Since then, Ceulemans has mapped 30 other cities in similar fashion, but Jerusalem easily stands out as one of his most important works. Recreated in rich detail, this fine tapestry will delight anyone who has visited the city or holds a special place in their heart for the Holy Land. The tapestry is lined and has a tunnel for easy hanging.
