This tapestry "Klimt Tree Of Life II" shows a modern and contemporary Tree of Life by Gustav Klimt (1862-1918). Klimt was one of the artists of the Vienna Succession movement. Here we see the spiraling branches of his Tree fo Life depicting the tree of knowledge of the Garden of Eden as a part of his work in 1905 to create paintings to decorate the famous Stoclet palace in Brussels. The use of spirals and geometric patterns together with a cohesive color palette creates an abstract interpretation of the Tree of Life. This "Klimt Tree Of Life II" tapestry is backed with lining and tunnel for ease of hanging. Note: tapestry rod and tassels, where pictured, are purchased separately.
