Knights Of Christ - van Eyck tapestry shows a detail from the Ghent Altarpiece, originally painted by Jan and Hubert van Eyck from 1432. Here we see the knights on horseback with the gorgeous detail of all their garments and braided materials, bearing flags, while they proceed through the countryside. The colors are rich and masterful, as the nature’s greens and blues contrast with the more colorful attire of the party. In this scene, the knights are approaching the Christ child, or the Adoration of the Lamb. This Knights of Christ tapestry is backed with a lining and a tunnel for easy hanging. Note: tapestry rods and tassels, where pictured, are not included in the price.
