Taking a slightly different view from “Royalty at Lake Como”, this piece focuses on the scenic beauty of Italy’s Lake Como. The stone path wanders past the gardens and beautiful buildings just out of frame on the right. The ornate benches, brick work and garden walls are classic in their Renaissance style. One can imagine walking down the path to the balcony at the end of the walk, which overlooks one of the most beautiful lakes in the region. Beyond, the mountains disappear around the bend in the lake, causing one to wonder what lies beyond. The original work is based on three different paintings from the 17th century. This tapestry comes with a tunnel for easy hanging and is lined on the back.
