Lotus

One of the most ancient and respected symbols in culture, the lotus plant is the symbol of spirituality in Oriental cultures, and of creation and rebirth in Egyptian mythology. “Lotus” appeals to all, with its beautiful representation of this magnificent symbol and work of nature. The lotus flower grows in muddy water and rises above the surface to bloom. At night, it closes and sinks into the mud once again, never touched by the impurities of the mud. It’s not hard to imagine why the lotus represents such things as life, health and purity of the heart and mind.
