Messenger of love

Messenger of love
It’s been said that Mary Baxter St. Clair was born with a brush in her hand. Her body of work extends the range of fantasy, from fairies to angels. Her paintings are amazing, almost ethereal, as if graced by pixy dust. “Messenger of Love” shows an angel offering the gift of roses, which symbolizes God’s unfailing love. According to St. Clair, one only needs to open his or her heart and mind to accept this precious gift. If you have St. Clair’s “Best Friends” you may have noticed a familiar face. It is Amanda, the island girl who shared the canvas with her sister Becky in this now sold out work. Born in St. Clair Shores, Michigan, the artist now calls Kauai, Hawaii her home. “Messenger of Love” is lined on the back and has tabs for easy hanging.
