Here in this work from 1851, we see a glorious stag on a mountainside, with a glorious background that is misty and cloudy atmosphere which shows off the rocky mountains beautifully. A gentle golden light illuminates the stag and even the grasses are beautifully rendered. Monarch of the Glen tapestry is backed with lining and tunnel for easy hanging.
