Naima tapestry shows the work of artist Keith Mallett. His collections of African women in pose, shows his rich and stimulating use of color. Here we see an African woman with a vase, dressed in richly patterned clothing, including a splendid leaf motif body wrap, and the scene is decorated by a flower with an abstract background in warm beiges, browns and olive. Mallett is known for his works of multicultural influences. Born in Pennsylvania and graduating from art college in New York City, he produces many works for Canadian Art Prints, one of the largest fine art publishers in the world. Here his rich and bold style is shown to beautiful effect. This tribal modern Naima tapestry is backed with lining and tunnel for easy hanging. Note: tapestry rod and tassels, where pictured, are purchased separately.
