This medieval tapestry "Storm (Orage)" shows a work based on the famous wall-hangings of the Apocalypse d Angers, woven at the end of the 14th century by Nicolas Bataille. This work was based on the cartoons of Hennequin of Bruges, and was created for the Duke Louis 1st of Anjou. In this piece we see the bright yellow leaves of the tree contrasting with the blue night sky. This medieval wall tapestry "Storm (Orage)" is backed with a lining and has a tunnel for easy hanging. Note: tapestry rod and tassels, where pictured, are purchased separately.
