Templars

Templars wall tapestry shows the departure of The Templars in the Holy Crusades. In this scene we see the knights with their emblems on their capes, garments and shields, leaving the castle grounds. The Tamplars were also known by the names of the Order of Solomon's Temple. The Crusades began in the 11th century and continued into the 15th century. This piece shows a rendition of a knight's life and times in this medieval period. This Templars tapestry is backed with a lining and a tunnel for easy hanging.
