Probably one of his most famous work, The Kiss II - Klimt tapestry is based on the painting by Klimt from 1907. Radial for its time, yet full of sensual beauty, we see two lovers kissing in a close embrace, with their geometric design cloaks surrounding them like auras. The color palette is beautiful with golds and speckled with multi colors. The couple meld into the ground of blue, yellow and mauve flowers. The original was painted with gold leaf and is a work typical of his new definition of Art Nouveau style. The original is in the Belvedere palace in Vienna. This The Kiss II - Klimt contemporary and modern art tapestry is backed with lining and tunnel for easy hanging. Note: tapestry rod and tassels, where pictured, are purchased separately.
