This medieval wall tapestry "The Month of October" the work from the "Lucas Months" originally woven in Brussels in 1535 and copied by the Manufacture de Gobelins in 1688. The Lucas tapestries shows a series of wall hangings dedicated to each month of the year. Here in this tapestry, we see the nobility enjoying the beautiful Autumn harvest month of fruits and flowers in the outdoors with beautiful arbors. The lively attire is also seen on the characters as they enjoy this sunny day. An elaborate border surrounds the scene to complete the work.
