Bayeaux William Navagio II tapestry shows a scene of boats and horses from the Bayeaux tapestry from the 11th century. The original Bayeaux tapestry was commissioned in the 1070s by Bishop Odo, William’s half brother. The originals were rediscovered in 1729 in the Bayeux Cathedral. Here we see gorgeous colors of green with blues, reds and camels, showing the portrayal of the voyage to the Battle of Hastings, including his men on horseback. A fanciful border of mythical creatures and animals surrounds each scene. This Bayeaux William Navagio II tapestry is backed with lining and tunnel for easy hanging.
