This handwoven tapestry "Handwoven Le Gout Detail - Lady and The Unicorn" shows the sense of Taste from the Lady and the famous Unicorn series from the 1500s. In this piece, we see a section showing the Lady tasting candies from a platter held by her maid. At the same time a bird lands on her other hand while a monkey is seen tasting perhaps from the same plate. The lion is seen on the left holding steadfast to the flag of the Le Viste family. The green floor of the forest as well as the red background is portrayed beautifully in the mille-fleur style so well known from the medieval era as a way to decorate the natural background of pieces in a stylised way. This handwoven tapestry "Handwoven Le Gout Detail - Lady and The Unicorn" is lined, and has a rod pocket for easy hanging.
