This medieval tapestry "Medieval Brussels - Vertical" shows a detail from the larger work of the Hunt of Maximilianof Old Brussels. Based on the original works woven in Brussels in 1548 for Archduke Maximilian, we see in this scene the Archduke riding in the forest of Zonien in royal attire with his noblemen in the countryside scene. The quaint medieval city is seen in the background. This Medieval Brussels Vertical tapestry is backed with a lining and has a tunnel for easy hanging.
