Here in this work "The House of Claude Monet" we see Monet's home in Giverny. This French impressionist painter produced many works from his home in Giverny, where he produced works portraying the gardens, water lilies, garden pond and bridge. Giverny is a commune in the Eure part of Northern France, and sits on the bank of the River Seine where the river Epte meets the Seine. Claude Monet first noticed the village of Giverny while looking out of a train window. This was enough to make him decide to move there where he rented then subsequently bough this house with the magnificent gardens of which he wanted to paint. Here we see a work portraying his home, in tones of afternoon sun colors and shades, with a large bush of flowers in the mid ground. This fine art tapestry is backed with a lining and has a tunnel for easy hanging.
