This Dance in the Country - Renoir tapestry shows a work based on the famous painting by Renoir. Here we see the work from 1883 showing a lady dancing with a man in the garden party. August Renoir was an artist in the impressionistic style, and his favorite theme was female sensuality. Many of his works shows women in daily life in France, and ranged from daily routines to socialite situations such as parties. The woman in this piece is in fact Aline Charigot, Renoir’s future wife. This fine art Renoir's Dance in the Country tapestry is backed with a lining and a tunnel for easy hanging. Note: tapestry rods and tassels, where pictured, are not included in the price.
