The mysterious woman in Alphone Mucha's four seasons tapestries, is this scene here Mucha Winter, shows her looking at the viewer through her shawl, amidst the elements of nature. Here the leaves and branches are covered with snow, and a sense of the wind is evoked by her posture. The trees and branches shows intricate detail and the top two corners shows green snowflakes indicative of the winter season as well as the promise of the eventual green growth of Spring.
