Abigail’s Watch

This delightful tapestry “Abigail’s Watch” shows a girl with a flock of geese, by Riccardo Bianchi. Here we see a girl and two other children out on a stroll in the woods rounding the geese in their traditional farming attire. This work has a masterful use of light as in all of the works of Bianchi and is reminiscent of the romantic period of painting of the Italian masters.
