Hunt of the Boar

This sumptuous and colorful medieval tapestry shows the “Hunt of the Boar”. It showcases the beautifully clad noblemen and women with their hounds hunting down the boar in the woods, with some spectators in the background looking on. There is delightful detail in the entire scene from the tree foliage to the bark of the trees themselves, all the way to the garments of the hunters as well as the coats of the hounds. A lively and graphic scene of hunting in the woods which represented the past time of the noblemen at the time. This tapestry “Hunt of the Boar” is backed with a lining and has a tunnel for easy hanging.
