The first of the series, January Botanical tapestry shows the famous work of Robert Furber’s Twelve Months of Flowers. Originally designed in 1730, this was a work celebrating the botanical study of 30 flowers per month of the year. Here in January, we see the flowers of mid winter. A variety of colors and shapes are seen, accompanied by green foliage, in a classic styled vase. The emblem label reads January, and each flower species is written on the base of the work. A golden border completes the work. January Botanical tapestry is unlined and has a tunnel for easy hanging.
