Kiss II Klimt Cushion Cover

The Kiss by Klimt is a famous painting by the Austrian master and symbolist painter Gustav Klimt. This Kiss II cushion cover is based on this original work from 1907 created during his golden period of art production. In this piece we see a couple embracing in golden robes representing their clothing as well as possibly their golden auras. It is perhaps his most intimate work. This work is reminiscent of the Art Nouvea style or art and craft. The original is in the Osterreichische Galerie Belvedere museum Vienna.
