Messengers of Spirit

Messengers of Spirit tapestry shows two horses in an abstract composition by McCavin. In this tapestry here we can see two horses in a scene with a pure and harmonious use of color. The textures in the horses’ bodies and hair can be seen which complements the abstract and dreamlike details in the background. The Roman pillars hint at the rich history which horses have with the development of many ancient empires including the rise of the Roman empires.
