Silhouettes – Klimt

In this Klimt Silhouettes tapestry, we see the distinct work of Klimt (1862-1918). Klimt was known for his distinctive works in the Viennese Secession and Art Nouveau style. His sense of liberation is reflected in his art. Here we see Japanese ladies or geishas looking into the scene with an abstract geometric and leaf motifs in between the figures.
