Virgin Faces Klimt Cushion Cover

This tapestry cushion based on the work by Gustav Klimt called the Virgin or the Maiden created in 1913, shows the 3 faces of the 3 young ladies. It is said that the 3 ladies represent different stages of adulthood and womanhood and is symbolically represented by the flowers in her gowns. The original oil painting by the Austrian artist who went to the Vienna University of Arts and Crafts, and awarded the Golden Order of Merit from the Emperor of Vienna, has in total 6 ladies and is in the National Gallery in Prague in the Czech Republic. This cushion cover “Virgin Faces Klimt” is backed with a lining and has a zipper. Note: infill not included.
