Wawel Timberland Leaves Cushion Cover

Wavel Timberland leaves Belgian jacquard woven cushion cover is based on the original tapestries created for King Sigismund Augustus of Poland from the 16th century. The works were commissioned from artists Michiel Coxcie of Mechelen and is a part of the Jagaloon series of tapestries. Here in Timberland, we see a detail taken from the larger work. We see a delightful rendition of trees, vines and grapes in classic and beautiful verdure style. In this style the leaves and foliage take center stage and are rendered with care to accentuate their beauty of color and form. Here we see grape vines gently entwining the trunks of trees in the forest. This cushion cover is backed with a lining and has a zipper. Note: infill not included.
