Whispering Flowers

Full of bold modernism, this “Whispering Flowers” tapestry shows the work of artist J C Penney. Here we see a work filled with light and delight, as we see white flowers whispering to each other. The ingenious hint at the whispering is achieved though the play of light on the white petals of the blooms which are facing in slightly different directions, almost having a conversation with each other.
